Stakeholder-in-the-Loop Fair Decisions: A Framework to Design Decision Support Systems in Public and Private Organizations

Due to the opacity of machine learning technology, there is a need for explainability and fairness in decision support systems used public or private organizations. Although criteria appropriate explanations fair decisions change depending on values those who are affected by decisions, lack discussion framework consider outputs each stakeholder. In this paper, we propose that call “stakeholder-in-the-loop decisions.” This proposed requirements decisions.
